Our Halloween

We held an intimate, but nevertheless fun, Halloween party on Saturday night. Here are some of the photos:

Adam's scary drawings

Adam drew some scary pictures which we hung on the wall.

Halloween cupcakes

I made Halloween cupcakes (and by the way, since when did red and yellow make a funny shade of pink? No matter how I tried they just came out the wrong shade. You can’t quite tell here. In fact, here they look half decent. And anyway, the kids didn’t care.)

Halloween decorations...plus Top Gear

We decorated the walls with orange and black crepe streamers, making the place look more like the Wests Tigers (Rugby League) were playing a Grand Final than something spookily impressive, but it’s the thought that counts, right?

(Yes, that’s Top Gear on the television.)

shady character...

Riley started the evening as Spiderman, but by the end of the night ended up as this interesting looking character.

scurvy pirate!

I started the evening as a unimpressive looking pirate and ended it looking even more unimpressive…as you can see.

Aussies, did you do anything for Halloween? Or are you still trying to resist the temptation?

Haha, looks like fun :) We didn’t do anything, kids are probably a bit young, plus they have a cranky Dad who is no fun when it comes to things like Halloween :S

we didn’t do anything and I have to admit, I’m still reluctant to succumb to further american imperialism! Othertimes I think”relax….get over it!”. You guys gave it a good shot!

The Flipster however was invited to a birthday party which was fancy dress with a halloween theme so he went as a summer-vampire. Forget to take a photo damnit!

We went trick or treating in Nashville! Way to much candy….My girl dressed up as a mummy and my boy dressed up as a block of lego!

Find me a bandwagon and I will jump on it!
We didn’t trick or treat, although there was a group door knocking, my guys (and heaps of their friends) mad do with dress ups in the park, a picnic and treasure hunt. It was great fun.
