She caresses my finer sensibilities

in Karen, Keira

 Ignore the double chin, please

She caresses my finer sensibilities
on days they are barraged by ugliness.
Her love a salve,
her laugh the soft cloak,
I wrap around myself in the moments

hours

of ever questioning, mothering need.

Karen, your poem is really beautiful. You should write more of it.
