When we’re away the tomatoes will play

I’d like to start by saying a big thanks to everyone who commented or contacted me yesterday regarding my big news. They are all welcomed and your support means a lot. Kisses!

And now I have something to show you.

Behold, from this:

That'll stuff 'em

To this:

tomatoes #2

Just look at them! They’re monsters! They’ve cleared the fence! They know no limit! I’m starting to get a little scared!

And the tomatoes? DELICIOUS! (A definite pick for a Grace In Small Things)

The only problem is that one of the bushes has picked up one of those black-fungi things that eats away at the leaves like a snail does. We’ve medicated them and are crossing fingers that it doesn’t spread to the other three.

Look at me, talking like a gardener. Ten years ago I’d be stifling a yawn. How things change.

You’d make our green-thumbed parents very proud.

Looks great! I’d prefer home-grown tomatoes any day of the year.

We must be growing up or something. I’m excited about the tomato plants, and devastated by the fungus thingy. Fingers crossed that it goes away.
