Keira very kindly (but without my sanction) decided to photo journal Riley’s haircut experience on Friday. There are about a dozen other photos on this theme: RILEY CRYING! RILEY RUBBING HIS EYES! CLOSE UPS OF THE HAIR ON THE FLOOR. IN THE SINK etc.
I mightn’t have worried quite so much if I was doing an adequate job – but in truth I was making a hash of it, and his tears were mostly from discomfort (my poor baby).
Adam walked through the door after work and said:
“What did you DO?! You Romper Stomper-ed him?!”
Indeed. As you shall see tomorrow, in the second installment of “How to destroy your child’s trust and confidence in the hairdressing profession – give him a #1 buzz cut without proper prior practice.”

Jayne’s last blog post..Lost & Found bits ‘n’ bobs
I cut DeBoy’s bangs the other day. He yells loudly when I do. He thinks that when something is cut it is supposed to hurt. He does the same thing with his fingernails. I haven’t been able to bring myself to cut his curls in the back. Maybe after we take his 3-year-old picture. Or not.
