How cute! Surprise! is definitely on my list of must-buys. I’m sure my 10 year old will love it
As for your post yesterday about your dad…I’m so sorry. Major hugs. I’ve been there with my grandad (grandparents raised me, so he’s like my dad) for a while, only it’s Parkinson’s and several other illnesses. It never gets easier, but we adjust. All I can say is stay strong, and enjoy every second you have.
It just really, really sucks when such bad things happen to good people.

That’s awesome. It made me smile and not much has done that over the past few days- except yesterday when 2 mums from my class came in with a big bunch of roses to cheer me up because they knew i’d been sad.
All the kids have been reading Surprise! in my class. On Monday after I went home early they drew pictures to put in the back of it, like the kids do in the book. My co-teacher showed me the next day.
So sorry to hear about your dad. Thought hugs coming your way. Take care.
I am so glad you enjoyed reading of your success in our corner of the world – many, many more Surprise! pictures have been drawn!

Most people I’ve talked to who have the book have told me there have been many many pictures drawn to behold! Just what I wanted
