And that’s my son almost 18 months ago - doing a remarkable facial impersonation of his grandfather when he’s been served a surf ‘n’ turf out at a resturaunt and there is a decidedly smaller amount of ’surf’ than ‘turf’ in his dish.
Because if he suspects he’s missing even a single King Prawn, then it is on, people. We’re talking flipping counter trays here, so he splashes the cocktail dipping sauces over the walls.
Of course, this could just be my memory playing tricks on me
Have a lovely day, dad.

Many happy returns to your dad.
Your dad sounds a lot like mine. If he could, he’d more than likely strip the oceans bare of ’surf.’ Heh.
And, a quick question from a non-Aussie: The traffic sign in the back…is that for a traffic circle?
Maybe that’s more of a non-urban dwelling sort of a question?
It’s a wonder, really, that they ever gave me a driver’s license.

We call it a ’roundabout’ sign, D. This means there’s a roundabout ahead, which is a circle in the middle for cars to go around, always giving way to those on the right. I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the same thing as your traffic circle?

Actually, that’s exactly the same thing. Same name, too. Apparently I’m the only one in Pennsylvania who calls it a traffic circle. Silly me…I thought it made sense. It’s traffic. It goes in a circle. Heh.
