The Melbourne Writers’ Festival program is out - yes, I’m still pinching myself

Update: The entire program can be found in today’s The Age newspaper. My session is in there, but my author profile didn’t make it (although I think they did warn me that might happen). Now I just have to try and decide what other sessions I’d like to go to. Anyone else going? Who are you seeing?

Here’s the specific outline regarding my contribution to the MWF:

15 Minutes of Fame – in conjunction with the Emerging Writers’ Festival the MWF presents a short interview, reading and Q&A with one of the city’s newest literary talents*. Hosted by EWF Director David Ryding.

Date: 31 August 2008
Time: 8.30pm
Venue: Function Space, ACMI (Festival Club)
Cost: Free

*Bold added myself because, like, GULP?! BOGGLE? *Insert other incredulous verbs* Now I am nervous.

Yay! Very exciting! What are you gonna read? Would it be possible to read text from surprise even if you don’t have the final polished book there with you?
