But if it makes you feel any better, my girlfriend had a gay lit prof that she adored, and whenever she talked about him, she had a litany of reasons she couldn’t marry him: “If it weren’t for the fact that he’s gay, in a longterm relationship with Richard and, like, 20 years older than me, I’d so marry him.”
Our friend Mike graciously pointed out that she’d left out an obvious obstacle: me.

I have an ex boyfriend who turned gay. Loooong story - but they make THE best friends! Evah! Of course, if you were to do this with Ryss and wanted to avoid him stealing Adam, you may have to hide Adam in the closet or something….wait…or maybe not…

Yep. I’d have popped him for that one. I once dated a guy who was gay but he didn’t know that I knew he was gay. It was great fun because there was no pressure to put out. He finally told me a year later and was surprised that I already knew.
