It’s 36.4 degrees as I write this and its expected to hit 42 degrees sometime this afternoon.
So we are stuck inside, as the concrete is even burning my feet; and after a childhood of non-shoe wearing, that takes some heat.
Plus, last night I came down with a cold.

Somewhere (well, next to me) the kids are being quite good and watching television and reading, and I’m just counting down until my husband gets home so I can go have a lay down!
You hot too? Trust me to get sick on New Years!

Oh no! I saw the weather forecast and was so glad we are in Tassie where is it only going to get to 33C suposedly. My brother however is in SA for a fortnight, poor boy, he isn’t used to the heat.
I hope the cold gets better fast!

You should be up home. Top of only 26 degrees there today. Less here. I hate it when it gets up into the 30s.. and there is nothing worse than getting sick as well. Poor K. ((hugs))
