Happy Wedding Anniversary for yesterday, dear. You forgot; I forgot.
Five years. Not bad.
Now, where’s my eternity ring? Other women get their ‘pushing presents’ after labour (no one tells you about that in the books) and what did I get? A clap on the shoulder and a “Good going, soldier.”*
I think my time has come…
*Naturally, I am exaggerating again. I made up the clap on the shoulder.

“Good going, soldier” is a good phrase!
Ouch, I think your hints may be to subtle. Try bashing him over the head with the catalog of your choice. It helps.
Oy,..I feel your pain. Hubby gave me nothing this past one. And last year for Christmas,…..(ready for this?)…..a tire pressure gauge! Yup, the sweet thoughtful trinkets from the local Shell always makes my heart go pitter patter…*sigh*.
Found you through Kerflop!
Hmm. I didn’t know that? Is it a rule of something? I should have four eternity rings in that case. How comes I dipped out?
Cheers
I don’t know Maddy! We must work this out together!
Ginger – good idea. A Tiffany one
(If tiffany even DO catalogues!)
lolol – You aren’t doing so bad………. I didn’t even get my engagement ring till my 7th wedding anniversary!!
But did he actually say ‘good going, soldier?’ That’s funny
And tiffany’s does have an online catalogue
IT DOES?! I’m going there now
Bettina – so long it was a good one, I hope?!
Aren’t you two gorgeous, and such a gorgeous photo! Happy anniversary!
LOL I did get the eternity band aka the merit badge.
I just had to comment! (Do you know why I read every day but rarely comment…your site never remembers me and I have to type in my info every time. I am sorry I am so pathetic, LOL. I will try to do better. While I’m here I have to say I have loved the posts this week.)

Stunning photo and that is a big oops – I got nothing either but I would be hollering if he forgot.
I sat here and read out your post to my husband. With the emphasis on the eternity ring thing…
3 kids, 18 years together, Christmas and wedding anniversary on New Years Eve…….
Do you think he took the hint?
Kelley – I guess not?!
My parents were married on NY day!
