Why am I so darn monogamous?

The other night, I dreamt of Clive Owen.

We were players in some sort of Edwardian Ghost Mystery – where I was the gentle noble’s daughter and he was a detective-of-sorts, trying to figure out the case of a girl’s figure in a cemetary; a cemetary which was set in a place very similar to Whitby in England, so I suppose, from that, I’m to guess the tale had some sort of vampiric connection. It actually was kind of interesting and if I ever write the screenplay, Clive can thank me when he accepts his Oscar, but I was never to know the ending because then my husband turned up in the dream and spoiled the fun.

“Hello!” he said, as Clive and I were making googly-eyes at each other. “I’m your husband! Remember me! Hey, stop that!”

Clive, rogue that he was, didn’t let my newly established status faze his attentions. In fact, that inspired him to pursue me at greater length….

“Hey, I said STOP THAT!” says my husband, and I, ever faithful, sighed and said,

“Sorry Clive, next time,” and I winked at him.

Saucy wench!

Who do you dream about?

I dream weird, but them, my work life is full of weird so I suppose I dream work. Sometimes I dream about one of the four kids – never all of them at the same time because that would be a night mare!!!!!!!!
I so want to have romantic dreams.
Karen thank you for your donation to COSA. I know it was you and you, Aussie Mummy, are a dream come true for those 44 orphans. May Colin Farrel AND Clive Owen battle for the grace of your sub conscious tonight.

I had a similar dream a few weeks ago but it had John McEnroe in it. In the dream we were having a massive screaming argument (what a shocker) and when the fight stopped he asked me if I wanted to go for a drink and I was like, no thanks, I have a boyfriend. It was very odd- John McEnroe is not someone I’m keen on. And it’s nice that in my dreams I am still faithful to my boyfriend as well, although what made me dream about John McEnroe..unless it’s those Mars Bar ads that are on TV at the moment…so maybe it was an unconscious desire for a Mars Bar in the middle of the night…

When I dream famous, Tim McGraw always shows up. He flirts with me, and then out of the corner of my eye I see Faith – and then I scold him for daring to cheat on such a beautiful woman. LOL

He still keeps coming after me. I wonder if I think I’m better lookin’ than Faith Hill? (That’d be a stretch!)

I have similar such dreams involving Scarlett Johansson and just when things are getting interesting my girl friend makes an appearance… usually with her steering wheel lock! ;)

I dreamt about Zhang Ziyi the other night, which was nice, but it was a very chaste dream; we were in the midst of a great battle in a forested region, fighting against some villain or another.

And then the other night I dreamt about Bill Murray, and to my eternal relief, that, too, was a chaste dream…though one full of funny ripostes, courtesy of Mr. Murray.

Ooooo you luck thing, having dreams about dashing celebs! I’ve never been so lucky. And even my wandering mind, if I’m fortunate, is never so creative when I daydream.

Love the new look, BTW!

Robert Redford (ca 1968-1975). (I’m 24, why do you ask?) Actually, the last one was SOOO good, I wrote a novel about it in under four weeks.

And then the other day, I found out that he’s like four months younger than my grandma.

Good thing I can dream in the past!

Awww, I had a dream recently about Prince William. My husband doesn’t often turn up in my dreams, and my dashing rescuer from a life of drudgery (in this case Prince Wiliam, but most often Robbie Williams) manage to whisk me away to the UK scot free!

But I’m not keen on the dreams I had last night…
